Water damage leads to mold faster than most people expect. We eliminate it before it spreads through your home.
“Courtney was extremely knowledgeable about mycotoxin illness and the steps that needed to be taken to remediate my condo - including dealing with odd schedules and an inflexible HOA. For tasks outside of Pure Maintenance's specialty, she recommended other skilled local professionals who also did their jobs quickly and well. I highly recommend this company.”
“We needed a mold issue addressed and contacted Pure Maintenance Wisconsin. Courtney worked with us to identify the underlying issues before the treatment to avoid the problem reoccurring afterwards. Everything was taken care of in a timely manner and very professionally. I highly recommend using them for any mold remediation.”
“I was very impressed with Pure Maintenance Mold Removal. I have the HLA genotype that doesn’t form antibodies to the mycotoxin that mold spores produce, and therefore I get pretty sick from a mold exposure with CIRS symptoms. Our basement was flooded in August and after initial remediation from an emergency company, I was still experiencing symptoms. I had heard about Pure Maintenance from a health podcast and felt fairly convinced that they would make my home healthy again. Customer service was excellent and prompt, communication was clear. Courtney (the owner) came to my home and pointed out areas that still needed remediated. She was very detailed as she went through my home, searching for potential mold spores. She and her team came in and completely removed any potentially remaining mold, using negative air pressure to ensure the spores did not infiltrate the rest of my home. After they were confident they removed all of the mold spores, they treated my entire home with their dry fog which completely neutralizes the air. They tested the air after their work and levels were at zero. When I came back into my home after their work, the air was so fresh and clean. I no longer had symptoms from the mycotoxin exposure and feel healthy again. Courtney is extremely detail oriented and is an expert in mold remediation. She is honest, and collaborates with her clients on the best remediation approach. My only regret is that I didn’t hire Pure Maintenance right away after the flood to do the initial remediation. I highly recommend them!”
“Pure Maintenance Wisconsin has been a lifesaver! Courtney and her team deliver an extraordinary, non-toxic approach to whole-house mold remediation. From precise initial testing and consultation to the efficient demo crew and flawless treatment process, every step was effective, professional, and 5-star. I’m beyond grateful for their incredible mold testing, removal, and unmatched customer care!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“I was affected by the August 9th Milwaukee flooding. Lost everything and ended up with mold. Courtney and her crew Ivan, Broodie any Anthony Rock! Very nice and honest people. Excellent customer service experience from the first initial quote estimate Courtney was very professional, very knowledgeable, very thorough with her inspection. Her crew did an amazing job with the mold remediation, demolition of drywall and cleaning of the mold on concrete walls. Very informative throughout the entire process. The results were awesome, you can't even tell mold was there. If anyone have mold I highly recommend you contract with Pure Maintenance. FIVE STARS PLUS!!”
“Received thoughtful and competent service from Courtney and her team to address moisture issue in a rental property. They worked around schedules and helped us through a difficult task. Highly recommended.”
“Pure Maintenance was hired to remove mold from the flat I am renting. I had a persistent cough for months. I went on vacation in July and my cough went a way. I came back to find mold on my walls. My cough started up again. After Pure came in and did their job my cough went away. The job they did was made a huge change to my life. I am not able to sleep cough free.”
“I just can't say enough about how great Courtney and her staff have been. After years of battling with a mold problem that put me in the hospital and made my son very sick we had gone the conventional route taking everything out of the house including the carpet. We had a team come in and wiped down the entire house and fog it. It was improved, but we still had symptoms and had to fog every week or two. This route was very time consuming and very expensive. One of my friends who had helped me diagnose what the problem was to begin with, his job involves dealing with mold and he recognized my symptoms, put me in touch with Courtney. She came in and did her method of killing the mold. Since she has done it, we have no symptoms. We don't even run our air cleaners anymore. We were running seven. The way that she kills the mold really gets everywhere and is very effective. I wish I would have gone with her right away. I highly recommend her method and believe it works better than anything else out there.”
You had water damage. Now you're wondering whether mold got a head start. The musty smell near the baseboard, that patch of drywall starting to bubble, allergies that haven't quit since the leak, any one of those is worth a closer look. If water soaked anything in your Madison home and didn't dry out within a day or two, mold is probably already growing somewhere you can't see it. We can find it and kill it in a single day, usually without tearing the house apart or draining your bank account.
If water got into your home and wasn't dried out inside 24 to 48 hours, you need this service. Doesn't matter if the leak was last week or back in March. Obvious mold on a wall or ceiling is the easy call. The ones that catch people out are quieter: a musty smell that showed up after a pipe burst, paint bubbling near a baseboard, a cough or sinus issue that only started after the flood.
Madison doesn't do you any favors. Frozen pipes and ice dams in winter push meltwater up under shingles and into wall cavities you'll never see. Spring thaw and summer thunderstorms drive water into basements that were never properly waterproofed, and older homes on the isthmus or near Mendota and Monona take the worst of it. A slow leak behind a wall, a sump pump that quit during a July storm, standing water in a basement corner, any of those can feed mold for months before you notice. Waiting just makes it worse and more expensive.
We're the licensed Pure Maintenance operators for the Madison area, and our vapor system is the reason people call us instead of a traditional remediation crew. Traditional means weeks of demolition and a bill that keeps climbing. We kill the mold throughout your home in hours, and the coating we apply afterward makes it harder for it to come back. Every job is verified with independent post-treatment lab testing, and we guarantee your indoor mold levels will come out lower than the outdoor levels. If they don't, we come back and retreat the home at no extra charge. Same-day service when we have the slot, and we know Dane County homes and the weather that beats on them.
If you've had water damage and you're worried about mold, don't sit on it. Call Pure Maintenance Wisconsin at 608-555-0199 and we'll get someone out to inspect the same day. Most jobs are back to normal by bedtime.
