Mold on your walls is bad enough. Mold inside them is worse—and that's often where the real problem is.
“We had mold in several areas of our home, including our basement, kitchen and upstairs bathroom. Courtney and her team did a thorough inspection, successfully cleaned it all up, and came back to re-inspect areas of concern to make sure things were done right. Courtney is very knowledgable about mold and clearly cares about making one's home mold-free and safe. She is quick to respond to questions, and her team was prompt, courteous and detailed. Great experience all around!”
“We are so thankful that we called Courtney to come to our house to take care of our mold. I had been dizzy and experiencing lightheadedness for months and we were just not feeling 100% ourselves. We also have a newborn at home and didn’t want to take any chances with her health. After Courtney and her team came, we noticed an immediate difference; my husband and I are both sleeping really well, we no longer feel like we have a cloud over our heads and we just feel generally very happy. It’s hard to explain, but it just feels like this haze was lifted and we’re finally back to our old selves. We live in a 1950s home and we just thought the musty odor was something we were going to have to live with, but after pure maintenance completed their work the house feels so much fresher, the air is lighter and the musty odor is gone. We couldn’t recommend Pure Maintenance Wisconsin enough! If we ever move again, I will definitely be calling them for a whole house treatment right away, so we don’t have to live like this again.”
“Courtney was very thorough in her inspection of our house when we hired Pure Maintenance for our mold removal and remediation. They went above and beyond to make sure that every single area I had concerns about was addressed as well as offering tips for afterwards to finish sealing up the house and detoxing from mold ourselves. Would definitely recommend!”
“Courtney at Pure Maintenance is absolutely amazing. She is caring, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in achieving the best outcome for her clients. I had a very negative experience with Indoor Environmental Testing, as they were unwilling to speak with me by phone about the results and were quite rude. Then I connected with Courtney, and the difference was remarkable. She took the time to thoroughly discuss the testing outcomes, explained treatment options clearly, and showed real concern for helping me move forward. When you are having a mold issue, you need kindness, patience and the understanding of a partner who wants the best for your family. I would 100% recommend Courtney to this. Also, the vapor she used was helpful - my brain fog almost immediately lifted, which I didn't even think was attributed to the mold in the home! Definitely use Pure Maintenance for your needs - highly recommend them.”
“I cannot stress enough how wonderful Courtney and her team are. She is data driven-- your quote will be based on mold being tested for rather than eye balling where they think mold could be. Additionally, they do all of this without being condensing in any way, encouraging questioning the process/ how things work. For results-- my partner and I had recurring sinus infections that have gone away once treatment was completed. We've also both had less headaches.”
“I highly recommend Pure Maintenance Wisconsin! They made a very stressful situation of discovering black mold in our home, causing severe mycotoxin illness, a seamless and stress free process. Courtney is amazing! She and her team are excellent at communicating, and are very detailed in explaining the process. Courtney is the 1st person to be certified in Wisconsin with this specific type of mold remediation! It’s cutting edge. They removed literally every spore from our space. Unfortunately, as a population, we are not educated about mold and its dangers - that it can cause cancer, for example. Most mold remediation is inadequate & does not actually remove the dangerous spores from your space. Courtney is an expert and can be 100% trusted. My doctor’s office even uses her company. Thank you, Courtney!”
“Courtney and the team were so helpful! After a renovation of our basement we thought all the mold was gone. Courtney came in and investigated until she found spots we hadn't thought about. She kept working with us until we eradicated the mold entirely! The demo'd a few spots that were too saturated with mold, dried out anything that could be salvaged, and applied the vapor. Very effective process that was much less expensive than redoing our basement stairs and more walls! It's been so nice to have our house back!”
“Courtney was extremely knowledgeable about mycotoxin illness and the steps that needed to be taken to remediate my condo - including dealing with odd schedules and an inflexible HOA. For tasks outside of Pure Maintenance's specialty, she recommended other skilled local professionals who also did their jobs quickly and well. I highly recommend this company.”
You had water damage. Now you're wondering whether mold got a head start. The musty smell near the baseboard, that patch of drywall starting to bubble, allergies that haven't quit since the leak, any one of those is worth a closer look. If water soaked anything in your Madison home and didn't dry out within a day or two, mold is probably already growing somewhere you can't see it. We can find it and kill it in a single day, usually without tearing the house apart or draining your bank account.
If water got into your home and wasn't dried out inside 24 to 48 hours, you need this service. Doesn't matter if the leak was last week or back in March. Obvious mold on a wall or ceiling is the easy call. The ones that catch people out are quieter: a musty smell that showed up after a pipe burst, paint bubbling near a baseboard, a cough or sinus issue that only started after the flood.
Madison doesn't do you any favors. Frozen pipes and ice dams in winter push meltwater up under shingles and into wall cavities you'll never see. Spring thaw and summer thunderstorms drive water into basements that were never properly waterproofed, and older homes on the isthmus or near Mendota and Monona take the worst of it. A slow leak behind a wall, a sump pump that quit during a July storm, standing water in a basement corner, any of those can feed mold for months before you notice. Waiting just makes it worse and more expensive.
We're the licensed Pure Maintenance operators for the Madison area, and our vapor system is the reason people call us instead of a traditional remediation crew. Traditional means weeks of demolition and a bill that keeps climbing. We kill the mold throughout your home in hours, and the coating we apply afterward makes it harder for it to come back. Every job is verified with independent post-treatment lab testing, and we guarantee your indoor mold levels will come out lower than the outdoor levels. If they don't, we come back and retreat the home at no extra charge. Same-day service when we have the slot, and we know Dane County homes and the weather that beats on them.
If you've had water damage and you're worried about mold, don't sit on it. Call Pure Maintenance Wisconsin at 608-555-0199 and we'll get someone out to inspect the same day. Most jobs are back to normal by bedtime.
